Shawlines is the online gallery for the work of artist Martin Shaw.
Martin lives a few miles southwest of Cambridge in the beautiful countryside where Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex meet.
His main artistic interest is in Portraiture and the human figure. Although having trained as a painter he also produces wood carvings.
Apart from conventional forms of portrait, and interpretations of Sceen Stars, Martin also depicts his subjects in historical costumes.
His wood carvings are also an example of unusual portraits although his carved work is not restricted to that.
